The Brokenhead Ojibway Nation (BON) is a Treaty 1 Nation located northeast of the Winnipeg, Manitoba on Hwy. 59.

How did BON get involved with LWIC?

BON is involved with LWIC because the former Lands Manager Gord Bluesky was instrumental in developing the organization. BON appoints the present lands Manger to LWIC.

Bon lands has undertaken a number of water related projects over the years - the BON Wetlands Interpretive Trail is one of the projects along with a number of wetland acres under the Mb. Protective Areas Program.
