How did you get involved with LWIC?
It was an unclear timeline of how I became a part of LWIC, I inherited the file, it seemed more of an outdoor file. As a commercial fisherman, it seemed like the right fit.
What does Water mean to you?
Water is everything, for First Nations it is everything. Where would you be without water? It is like the air you breathe, we can’t be without water. We understand it is important to protect and keep it healthy.
What is your favorite Water activity?
As a kid, we would travel to the beach with my family. My dad was a commercial fisher and we would spend a lot of time on the boat. I have been teaching my son about the ways of commercial fishing, what I learned from my Dad. It is important that my son learn about fishing and being on the water.
